Leaving

Tue Jul 29, 2014, 10:25 PM
Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of activity and new artwork, the thing is, I probably wont be able to upload anything for a while, I was gonna upload this new pice of an armored golem but it didn't came out the way I wanted (armor can be tricky and I'm a noob at that, also I'm suffering from an art block ) after a couple of hours of working on the drawing, it just didn't satisfy me at all, it's really one of the worst feelings an artist could deal with.

The reason as to why I won't be able to upload anything soon is because I'm leaving and moving into New York, I'd be lying if I say I'm not nervous... but hopefully everything will turn out good.

I'm still sorry for not drawing anything new, I feel like I let you all down, perhaps moving into to the big apple might help me with this damn art block and hopefully would make some new creatures in the future. Until then I have to go now.

Drawing ever since I can remember, Its the only thing that I'm good at. Since I suck at almost anything else (scratch playing video games, I'm awesome at playing video games XD). Art gives me a huge purpose in life, it reminds me that I'm a unique individual and not a wasted space.

Always trying my best to be a great artist, I may not be the most spectacular Artists ever but I try to always be creative. I'm hoping to be a illustrator / concept artist in the future, hopefully sooner :)

Anyways hope you enjoy my art :D

Tim, Just get to check my sight once in a while and I wanted to see how you are doing. Come to find out you're moving to New York. The greatest city on Earth. Congratulations! I get that you may be a bit nervous but man, you are going to love it. I was born and raised in Newark but spent most of my late teen and adult life living and or working in New york and although I've been living in northern New Mexico for the past decade which I love, I miss my beloved New York every day. There's just no other place like it. The culture alone makes it worth the move but when you add to that all the rest of the perks it's just incredible on every level. PLEASE check out the MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) as soon as you can.(Wait till you find yourself standing in a room with an Egyptian temple in it. Mindblowing!) World class art. World class everything! I am very happy for you. I hope you are going there under the right circumstances and not for some unfortunate reason. Your work is looking great and I am glad I looked you up when I did. Once you get settled try to make contact when you can via this site. I'd love to hear how you're adjusting to that miraculous city. All the best old friend, Sam.

Your very welcome my good friend :D I've been decent, thanks for asking. I see that both of us been having a rough time, I been having some personal issues but I'll manage as always. The life of an artist is not an easy one I suppose.
