Ogres are large carnivorous creatures that are usually found in forests, caves and swamps, they are commonly 8 to 10 feet of height and posses brute strengths. Their bodies seem to be made of some kind of large root that slightly resembles wood, because of this; many believe that ogres are associated with the Mandragora creatures, others even believe that a fully grown Mandragora is most likely an ogre.
They seem to lack any legs and therefore need to balance themselves with both their arms, this would make them less dangerous but surprisingly, they can balance their entire body with one arm and quickly attack with the other one. They can also leap towards their target in order to crush their victim with their massive body weight.
Ogres seem to display intelligence to a certain extent, they are a few who are able speak or mimic words, and their are others like swamp Ogres who usually lurk inside waters to drown their prey.
Their are many myths that describes how Ogres commonly prefer eating children and infants, one myth in particular suggest that once an infant gets digested by an Ogre, it becomes a seed that the Ogres usually plant wherever they reside, once it is planted; the seed grows into a Mandragora. This myth might support the association with Ogres and Mandragoras or even explain how Ogres reproduce themselves.
