Description

Waif Ruins are paranormal entities purported to exist for centuries , the mysterious cult has named the entities "verleugneten kindes" meaning disowned child in German. They have stated that these are spirits of those who were neglected trough their lives and died alone.

Waif Ruins bare the appearance of an unborn baby that is in a fetal position as though they were inside a womb. This could possibly symbolize their stunned emotional growth. Their also seem to be two large arms protruding from its back and covered in a dark gauze or cloak. They seem to leak dark spiritual aura on small holes found commonly on their backs which might as well represent how others would turn their backs at them. This holes are rarely found on their foreheads which could possibly mean that their neglect had broken them at their core. They seem to always hover close to the ground implying there emotional weight.

The entities have been reported to have a common behavior that identifies them. They spread their large arms wide open as a sign of the desire to be hugged, which may very well represent their fear of neglect or desperate need of compassion. This is strongly supported by many who have encountered or witnessed them. Whether the creature kills, absorbs or abducts its victims is also unknown as there are never any bodies or evidence left behind in the creature's wake to deduce a definite conclusion. Most theorize that Waif Ruins targets potential victims who live a lonely life and their presence causes drowsiness, once they get close to their victim the waif ruin hugs them which then causes a cardiac arrest. It has also been believed by several cult members that once a waif ruin hugs a person, it will not let go and large splinters will instantly grow out of its gauze stabbing and pinning the very soul of its victims. This has nicknamed the Waif Ruin as a splinter. In Cameron smith's journal, a  former member of the unknown cult has referred the creature as a void splinter.

Many pieces of parchments have been found in random locations and can be assumed to be connected to Waif Ruins, whomever wrote them remains ominous and some theorize that this are written thoughts of potential victims of waif ruins. One of them reeds:

Rejected by their friends and even their own families. They lived a life without the compassion of others, Ignored and abandoned by almost everyone in their life until the only companion they had was isolation.

When they died Alone, they became ghosts, to wonder in the never ending sorrow. But the neglect was too strong for them to bare any longer.

                                 And so their soul splinters...

their faces, forever lost. Why would anyone care how they looked like?, if they were to be neglected.
